
Who Are We?The founding partners of The Management Alliance are Tim Byrne and David Jardine, whose biographies are set out below. Both Fellows of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and have over twenty years of experience each in financial and management positions with blue chip companies and organisations. In addition we maintain close associations with numerous organisations that augment our team. (see below). Tim ByrneWith almost 20 years of board level experience Tim has been involved with a number of differentindustries and activities. Tim was employed by the Granada Television Division in a number of senior and board level postions until 1992. In 1997 he became Group Finance Director of MyTravel Group plc (formerly Airtours plc) before becoming Group Chief Executive. Examples of activities that Tim has led include:
Tim is Chairman of Sumners (a leading media post production company) and Everything4Travel. He is also an IOD speaker, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a mentor for the Princes Trust. David JardineDavid has over 11 years experience at the board level. A partner in the Assurance and Business Advisory practice of Andersen for 5 years, David has led large and complex projects and assisted clients in a broad range of activities including:

David was the CFO of MyTravel Group plc from 2000 to the end of 2002, and worked with the board to deliver change in a complex and dynamic business in a rapidly changing business environment. Since leaving MyTravel David has established a successful coaching business (www.coachingalliance.uk.com) and has been working with many organisations, including major public companies and individuals to help them realise their full potential. David is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
